Congratulations!  U6 DecoUnited team joined forces with Future Legends FC and won the Disney 3v3 National Champtionship.  Sebi, Matthew and Matthew together with Zack, Timmy and Richard dominated the competition and scored countless goals.  Congrats to all the coaches who helped prepare this amazing team.

U7 Deco United Team placed 11th out of 27 teams.  This was their first big tournament and the first year the players focus on 3v3 format.  Christian, Noah, Carlos, Anthony, Geo, and Juan Pablo played extremely well.  We are very proud of each and every one of them for an outstanding showing at Disney.  Watch out for next year!  They will be ready to win it all!

The Deco United U6 team were crowned tournament U6 Champions at the Inaugural Venice Summer 3v3 Challenge on June 14/15 hosted by ChallengeSports and the Venice Area Youth Soccer Association.  Sebastion, Matthew and Matthew (from left to right) were lead by Coach Juan Alzate.  By winning the tournament the team qualified for the for the 3v3 Challenge Nationals at Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex July 31 - August 3, 2008.  Contratulations to our Champions!

The Deco United U7 team finished in 2nd Place in U7 division after a heart wrenching penalty shootout after overtime play in the championship match.  The Championship match was tied at 5 all during regular play.  After 3 minutes of sudden death overtime, the team lost 2 to 1 in penalty kicks to the North Port Lightning.  Lead by Coach Juan Alzate, Giovani, Carlos, Christian, Anthony, Errol and Noah (from left to right) were undefeated until the final game.  Errol was undoubtedly the team MVP with his amazing dribbles and goals.  Most exciting goal was by Giovani who scored the game winner against a tough opponent Lehigh Lightning.  The team also qualified for the 3v3 Challenge Nationals at Disney.

The next 3v3 ChallengeSports tournament is in Venice, Florida, June 14/15.

U6/U7 Game Schedule for Venice Tournament

This is one of the last 3v3 tournaments close to South Florida before the National 3v3 Championships in Orlando on July 31 - Aug 3.  The Naples, Florida, 3v3 tournament will be the last one and it will be held on June28-29.

We are in the process of updating this website and getting ready for another successful soccer season.  Expected date of completion of the website renovation is June 30, 2008.

Our goal is to provide a more comprehensive soccer website for the West Broward area.  We will include information regarding recreational and competitive soccer programs locally.   We will also include information about coaching and the soccer industry.
